Put your geoggles on! Learn how to look for geographical connections - GA conference workshop - April 2025

This presentation was the product of a teacher study tour that we ran in the summer of 2025. We travelled together to Kochi in South Kerala, with the aim to develop a changing places case study of the port city. (See the next blog post!)

During the trip Kathryn McDonald - formerly a head of Geography - was formative in teaching us all the art of ‘looking through a geographical lens’ - we were repeatedly told by her: ‘Put your Geography goggles on - what can you see?’ This learning process definately needed sharing! So Kathryn, Susan and Imo offered this workshop for this years Geographical Association’s Annual Conference in Oxford. It went down really well - and we were delighted to present once more.
